Updates, Enhancements and Bug Fixes

Summary

This update brings refinements across Market, Collect, and Comply. The BOS and PSA flows were restructured to ensure proper versioning and compliance checks before signing. Collect now supports reversal of balance adjustments, blocks invalid negative entries, and improves SFTP handling with better feedback and file classification. Market allows sellers to upload updated NDAs after disclosure, and Comply provides better error feedback on uploads and new controls over default bank account selection. Some bugs related to uploads, strategy assignment, and NDA processing were also fixed, and automated test coverage was expanded.

General

  • We updated the Splitting Portfolio modal to include a scroll when users select more split sets than the modal can display.
  • Improved the Media File auto-attachment process by validating file naming conventions prior to processing, as this is a required condition. This prevents upload failures by ensuring only properly named files are processed, improving overall reliability.

Fixed General Bugs

  • Fixed a performance issue that prevented post sale cards from loading.

Market

  • We updated the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) feature to allow sellers to upload the executed NDA even after unmasked data has been disclosed to the buyer. Sellers can now ensure the NDA remains accurate and up to date, even in later stages of the transaction.
  • The PSA workflow now won’t start the e-signature process until compliance approval is complete. The “Regenerate PSA” button has also been removed to streamline the approval flow. Blocking signature before compliance approval ensures that PSA documents are only finalized once all validations are complete.
  • The Bill of Sale (BOS) process prioritizes the version uploaded in Agreement Manager over the one from the portfolio template. Previously, the system always used the template version, ignoring more specific or updated agreements. Additionally, the e-sing BOS is no longer sent to clients upon fund confirmation. Now, once the BOS is released, a “Send to Signature” button becomes available. If e-signing is enabled, internal users can either send the document for signature—if no prior e-sign agreement exists—or void the agreement if one does. This change ensures the BOS sent for signature reflects the most recent and specific agreement version, aligning the process with current contract data.

Fixed Bugs in Market

  • Resolved an issue preventing second uploads after an initial e-signature attempt.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented NDA generation when .doc files contained open comments, even if the document had been revised and approved.
  • Fixed a bug that eventually deleted a DSS attachment.

Collect

  • We introduced a new type of balance adjustment called “Reversal,” which allows undoing a previous balance modification. The new reversal option allows users to undo previous balance adjustments when necessary, with clear tracking for auditing purposes. (ID: 18572
  • Balance Adjustment process blocks negative values. We also included the error message in the generated error file of the loading portfolio. Negative balances could indicate data input issues or process misuse; the explicit error message helps users quickly identify the problem. Therefore, users gain clarity on why adjustments fail and avoid inconsistencies.
  • Invoice downloads via SFTP is enabled as an additional delivery channel. Users can now automate invoice collection securely, reducing manual work.
  • The SFTP Post Placement Request process now generates XLSX confirmation files for Bulk Create, Withdrawn, and Respond, sorting uploads into “rejected” or its respective business folders. This improves transparency, error tracking, and operational efficiency for users handling large volumes via SFTP.
  • We updated the SFTP Post Placement Request templates and process. New file validations were introduced, and additional fields were added to the following Headerless Request Types: Bankruptcy, Litigious, Military, SCRA, Deceased, Paid Prior, and OOS. For Header-based files, both the Low Balance and Out of Stat templates were revised, with structural adjustments made in preparation for future use of the latter. The improved headers now provide clearer guidance, helping users complete templates more accurately and reducing upload errors.
  • We improved the portfolio splitting feature in Collect. Now, the Sell Accounts modal (opened when you click on Sell All Accounts in Resting Area) will only display asset types that currently have an associated template. You also have the option to upload a file with additional accounts before splitting, so they are included in the portfolios to be sent to Market. To do this, click the Sell Accounts button in the Resting Area and select the Upload File Option. Additionally, you can select only the specific accounts you want and choose the Sell Selected Accounts option and, after that, proceed to split the portfolio as previously described. This prevent errors granting users a clearer, more flexible, and accurate experience when preparing and splitting portfolios for Market submission.
  • The Headerless file tables were reviewed and updated. New properties were added, content was revised, and column order was reorganized to improve structure. Their functionality over SFTP was also validated through unit testing. These enhancements resolve structural inconsistencies and outdated formatting, leading to more reliable file handling, smoother SFTP operations, and fewer data exchange errors.
  • We enhanced the Account Upload template by adding and renaming headers to enhance clarity—for example, WorkPhone was changed to WorkPhoneExtension, and PayFrequencey corrected to PaymentFrequency.

Fixed Bugs in Collect

  • Fixed a bug that allowed strategy pre-assignment even when it was skipped. We also fixed a bug that made it possible to add agencies to both pre- and post-assignment strategies.
  • Resolved an issue where SFTP files with duplicate names were not processed correctly.

Comply

  • We added a “Default Bank Accountcheckbox in the Bank Account form on Comply. Now, when users enter bank account information, they can choose to set the new account as their primary one, simplifying the process.
  • We enhanced error file feedback by distinguishing upload failures caused by file type or size, helping users troubleshoot more effectively.

Control Panel

  • The Postal Code field is now optional when Sweden is selected as the country. Users in Sweden can now complete forms more easily, avoiding errors caused by a mandatory field that may not apply to them.
  • We added a dropdown menu when selecting the Country in Billing Adress.

RMS

  • We updated the top search bar in RMS to support account searches using the “All” filter or the specific “Account ID” filter. The system will search the term on Market, Collect and Monitor at the same time, retrieve the results and, if you click on them, redirect you for the correct platform, granting users quick navigation across platforms.

Automated Tests

  • Executed a series of automated tests:
  • Bulk respond as Placer automatic test
  • Bulk respond as Agency automatic test
  • Implement business rules for Request to Retain
  • RMS menu
  • Comply menu
  • Recover menu
  • Fixed some Automated tests:
  • Comply Automated Tests
  • Collect URL Automated Tests
